Single Table Sit n Go Basics

Single table sit n goes are the fastest growing game in online poker.  A standard sit n go consists of 9-10 players with the top 3 making the money.  Recently, different forms of sit n goes have come into play.  One new type is the shorthanded sit n go, where 5-6 players enter and the top 2 finishers make the money.

Also, satellite sit n goes are becoming popular.  In these sit n goes 9-10 players enter for a certain buy in, and the top finisher wins his/her way into a larger buy in tournament.

Step Tournaments

Another common form of single table sit n goes are “step tournaments”.  In these, players start out at step 1, which may have a $5 buy in, and the top 2 finishers advance to a step 2 tournament, which may have a $25 buy in.  There are usually around 4-5 steps before the final tournament, where cash prizes are awarded.

In sit n goes players enter the tournament for a fixed buy in.  Besides the buy in, there is also a small tournament fee, which is usually 10% of the tournament buy in.  This means that if you enter a $5.50 sit n go at a top rated site, $5 is going to the tournament prize pool, and $.50 is going to the poker site for hosting the tournament.  It is similar to the rake of cash tables.

Chip Structure

When the tournament begins the players are all given the same amount of “play chips” that they use to play in the tournament.  The chips you have aren’t real money, but you have to use them to try and outlast all of your opponents.  When players get out that are in the money they are awarded their cash prize.  In the most common form of single table sit n go, the 9-10 man, the top 3 finishers get paid with payouts as follows:

1st Place Finisher

50% of the prize pool

2nd Place Finisher

30% of the prize pool

3rd Place Finisher

20% of the prize pool

Some of the advantages of single table tournaments are as follows:

Single table sit n goes are very quick, because the blinds are continually raised.  Usually blinds are increased every ten minutes, and as the tournament progresses an ante may be added as well.  This puts pressure on everyone, as they are blinding away, so the tournament progresses quickly.

Sit n goes can be entered at anytime, especially at a top rated poker site.  They are literally running nonstop at just about every single online poker site.  This means that as soon as you bust out of one sit n go, you can join another instantly.  This feature attracts many weak players, as they want to play without waiting in line for a ring table, so experienced players can take advantage of them.

Another advantage is the fact that you aren’t playing with chips that aren’t real money.  At a cash table you can lose all of the money you have at any time.  In a sit n go however, you can only lose what the buy in was for the tournament.  This reduces the variance for sit n go players.

Single table sit n goes are a great way to increase a skillful player’s bankroll.  At the lower levels the players are almost all fish, so if you learn the proper poker strategy you can win consistently.

7 Habits of highly successful online poker players

By blogadmin on Thursday, January 26, 2012

There are certain traits that successful online poker players exude. And it’s very likely they aren’t even aware that they excel in these areas; like a basketball player’s height, or sprinter’s speed, it’s just god-given ability.

online poker

online poker

However, if you are cognizant of these seven traits, you can work to improve on them.

Mental preparation

Being mentally prepared to play has to do with playing under good conditions, and in the right frame of mind. If you are exhausted, hungry, drunk/high, or stressed out, you will not be playing your best. And when you’re not playing your best you are unlikely to win.

These issues don’t necessarily have to arise at the online poker table; many players sit down in a game after a fight with their wife, or a bad day at work, and are one bad beat away from full blown tilt. On the other hand, playing in the right frame of mind will often allow you to handle a couple of bad beats without going on tilt. That said, four or five bad beats can tilt the most mentally prepared player!

Disciplined

A disciplined online poker player knows what to do, and has the patience to wait for the right situations. Discipline means you can go an entire session without winning a pot, or see a never-ending string of K3, Q6, and J4 all night long, and still have the discipline to fold AT, even though it’s the best hand you’ve seen all night.

Discipline is what keeps you playing the ‘right way’ when every other urge is telling you to do something else.

Try to improve

Whether it’s reading books, browsing online poker forums, or discussing hands with other players; a winning player never rests on his or her laurels. Winning players know there is no such thing as a perfect online poker player, so they are always trying to improve their skills any way they can.

Mentally Tough

There is an old saying: “Anyone can lead during good times; it’s under adversity that true leaders will emerge.” Mental toughness is the ability to take every bad beat, cooler, and run of bad cards in stride. Players that go on full-blown-life-tilt after a single bad beat will never hold on to their winnings long enough to be considered a winning player. It’s the players who can reign in their emotions, and perform well when things are going bad, as well as when things are going good that take home the money.

Fearless

Fearlessness doesn’t mean you are willing to snap off a bluff at any time; fearlessness means you will never let fear come between you and the right decision. Some players start thinking about the money they may lose, how silly they make look, and other things instead of making the right decision.

Often called playing scared, a player who is fearful –for whatever reason—is a sitting duck. Online Poker is a game of patience, but when the time is right you have to strike. Fearful players have the patience, but when the time comes they simply cannot pull the trigger.

Focused

Winning players are focused on the game: Not the baseball game on TV, the online poker game they are involved in. Focused players are not browsing the web or talking on the phone when they play online. Focused players are not checking out the cocktail waitress or chit chatting with their buddy when they play in the casino. Being focused means you are 100% focused on the game, and all the tiny bits of information that are being given away by the other players.

Cheerful

A good online poker player makes other people enjoy losing to them. He doesn’t belittle their play, moan about his terrible luck, or rudely talk to the dealer/waitress/staff. A winning player creates a good atmosphere –an atmosphere that makes people feel welcome– and a game the casual online poker player wants to play in.

Stealing Blinds in No Limit Texas Hold’em Online Poker

Stealing the blinds is one way of ensuring survival in a no-limit Texas Hold’em online poker game.  If you steal enough blinds, you can be in the game a longer time than your initial stack warrants.

What Is Stealing the Blinds in No Limit Texas Hold’em Online Poker?

In Texas Hold’em Online poker, there are obligatory opening bets from the small blind and the big blind (the first and second player to the left of the button provides the small and big blinds, respectively).  Together, they make up the initial pot.

Stealing the blinds refers to trying to win the initial pot or trying to win the blinds.  Stealing the blinds serves a two-fold purpose:  it will let you win extra chips, unchallenged, and help you reduce the size of your opponents’ stack.

Poker is a game of monumental skill and nerves. Can’t take the heat.

How to Steal the Blinds in No Limit Texas Hold’em Online Poker?

In order to steal the blinds, you must make all your opponents drop out of the betting round/s pre-flop.  The best way to do this would be to raise and re-raise during the pre-flop betting round.  If you are under-the-gun and you wish to steal the blinds, bet more than the minimum.  If you are in a middle position or a late position, you should multiply the minimum bet by around two times.  In other words, if you are trying to steal the blinds, bet aggressively and avoid mini-raises.

Stealing the Blinds Strategy of Texas Hold’em Online Poker!

If you are a late-position player, you are in an advantageous position to steal the blinds.  If most of the players have folded before the betting action reaches you, you can dominate the game and steal the blinds.

If you are short-stacked and wants to steal the blinds, it would be much better to go all-in rather than wait to be raised.  Take the lead in betting whenever you can.  Additionally, if only a few players are at the table (the game is short-handed), stealing the blinds is good strategy because you are obliged to post blinds more often than not and you’ll run out of chips much sooner.

You should not try to steal the blinds all the time, however.  Trying to steal the blinds means you have to make hefty raises.  If another player plays you and you miss the flop, you’ll lose all your bets. Furthermore, not all blinds are worth stealing.  If the blinds won’t significantly increase your stack, perhaps you should just let it go.  If, however, the blinds will make a sizeable addition to your stack, then by all means go for it.  The rule of thumb:  be selective of the blinds you’ll try to steal in Texas Hold’em Online Poker.

2-7 Triple Draw Online Poker Hand Selection Strategy

2-7 Triple Draw Online Poker Basics:

Online Poker

Online Poker

The most profitable forms of online poker are the ones that almost nobody knows. Everybody knows Texas hold’em poker and more and more people know how to play. So it’s becoming tougher and tougher every day. 2-7 triple draw is a very nice game that only a few online poker rooms offer. Tricky Play is one of those few rooms and proud to be able to offer 2-7 triple draw games to its players. Let’s take a look at some basics of 2-7 triple draw:

2-7 triple draw is mostly played with a limit betting structure and every player is dealt five downcards. In other poker games you have to build the best possible 5 card hand. In 2-7 triple draw quite the reverse is the case: you have to build the worst possible 5 card hand which is 2-3-4-5-7 in different suits. Aces count only as aces and not as „a one“like in many other online poker games. If you hold A-2-3-4-5 you don’t have a straight in 2-7 triple draw – you only have ace low. Furthermore every straight and flush is counted as high hand. If you have 3-4-5-6-7 you don’t have 7 low – you have a straight.

You can draw three times as many cards as you want. So you get dealt five cards and one betting round takes place. After that you can draw 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 cards. After that another betting round takes place and there are two draws remaining. After the third draw the last betting round takes place.

If you want to become a good 2-7 triple draw online poker player you have to select your starting hands carefully. You need to be very patient and can’t play every single hand. That’s what your opponents are doing. They play a lot of hands because they think that every hand can be a winner after the third draw. That’s a ‘strategy’ you should avoid.

2-7 Triple Draw Hand Selection Strategy:

Hand selection in 2-7 triple draw Online Poker is easily the most important strategic factor. In card games like Texas Hold’em or Omaha you can play just about any hand and compared to doing the same in triple draw the odds of winning are much higher. This article covers some tips for selecting and playing hands in 27 triple draw. This article focuses on hand selection and drawing but also contains some strategies for using your position at the table to your advantage.

2-7 Triple Draw Online Poker Best Hands:

In 2-7 triple draw Online Poker, the best hand that you can possibly hold is the lowest (conventional) poker hand.  Aces will count only as high cards in deuce to seven and flushes and straights will count against you.  The best possible deuce to seven triple draw hand is made up of seven – six – five –four – three – and two (but not as a flush).  To start betting aggressively in deuce to seven triple draw, you will need to make sure that you hand contains a minimum of a deuce and a seven combined with another low card.  You will have three rounds to draw to a good hand (or to make other decisions throughout the game, such as when to fold or even stand pat).

2-7 Triple Draw Online Poker Table Position:

Your position at the deuce to seven triple draw table is very important in deciding what your next move will be.  The best position in any game of online poker is usually the late position, optimally the last position.  Being one of the last players to act can only work in your favor because it affords you the opportunity to determine what your opponents are doing in their games and to act accordingly. You will also be able, from later positions around the deuce to seven triple draw table, to more accurately judge the strength of your own hand to determine when you should bet or when you should go ahead and fold or muck – cutting your losses while you still can.

Betting in 2-7 Triple Draw:

The number of cards that you elect to draw should be a big determinant in how aggressively you bet during 2-7 triple draw Online Poker. For instance, if you are drawing one or no cards, you obviously have a strong hand and should bet accordingly.  The fewer cards that you have discarded, the more aggressive you should bet.  If your opponents are drawing one or no cards, you can also discern that they have a strong hand and bet accordingly based on what you are holding.

Whether you play an aggressive game or a more laid back or timid game is determined by the number of cards that you need to draw during the drawing rounds in deuce to seven.  For example, if you are standing pat or drawing only one card, your hand is obviously strong and your bets should be just as strong. The lesser the number of cards that you have discarded, the stronger your betting and playing style should be, and vice versa.  The same goes for reading your opponents’ actions – if they are throwing down just a card or two or standing pat, they either have a strong hand or are attempting a good bluff.  You’ll learn better how to be a good judge of that the longer you play 2-7 triple draw Online Poker.

Bluffing Strategy in Texas Hold’em Online Poker

Online Poker

Bluffing in Texas Hold’em online poker is an important poker strategy for those who want to be profitable and big money man. It is also the number one reason why many players lose money at the tables. Bluffing is like playing with fire and sometimes you get burned. Definitely, there are many things you can do to reduce the risks. When it comes to bluffing in online poker Texas hold’em, risk management and use of good poker strategy is what separates the good players from the weak ones.

Bluffing In Limit Texas Hold’em

The skill of the bluff is truly an art. Someone should frame and hang a suitable bluff in a museum. It is ironic: That’s sort of how a player feels when someone has bluffed them. They feel framed, set up and cheated. However, that’s how the cookie crumbles, especially when dealing with a player who is familiar with the bluff.

Bluffing in Low-Limit Online Poker Games:

It is almost bootless to bluff in a low-limit poker. If bluff is only going to cost the other player $1 to see, odds are that someone will keep you honest. If you know what’s good for you, you should be wary about using the bluff move in a low-limit poker games, whether live or in online poker. Still, bluffing could be advantageous, especially depending on your position. If you are sitting on the button and everyone else has folded, a little bluff may be able to steal the blinds. But also be weary of using this move too much because eventually other players will catch on to you.

Bluffing in Mid-Limit Poker:

Bluffing is more likely to work in mid-limit hold’em online poker games, where stakes are higher. It’s more expensive to make the call, even though the pot odds are the same as on lower limits. And more importantly, there might be a lot of betting left before the hand is over, so the prospect of having to invest a lot of money will make opponents fold more willingly.

This is specifically true if there are more than two players left in the hand. A player who risks getting involved in a betting race between two other players will be much more impelled towards to fold before it even starts. Is spite of, late in the hand, if there is lots of money in the pot, a bluff will normally does not works. Players will take into consideration the pot odds they are getting and they will be willing to take their chances if they have any sort of hand. So, possibly a bit surprising, you should be more inclined to bluff into small pots than big ones.

Bluffing to cover up a Mistake:

Hand-saving online poker bluffs:

Following is an example for how a bluff can cover up a mistake in online poker Texas Hold’em? Suppose for instance you have 5h 5d in middle position and an early position player raise. You flat call to see the flop. It comes 8s 9s 4c. Your opponent makes what you see as a continuation bet, simply betting the flop because he bet before the flop. Yet you are reasonably certain he has AK, so you raises. Much to your surprise, your opponent raises you back. You could simply give up at this point and leave all the chips you have invested or you could try to pull off an elaborate bluff.

Use of the improvised bluff:

Bluffing every time you get into trouble is not needed, the most excellent option since opponents might catch you on. But if you keep this weapon it could mean a few extra nice pots, and those extra pots are what make all the difference in your win rate when you play online poker.

Semi-Bluffing With A Flush Draw in No-Limit Online Poker Texas Hold’em:

A semi bluff is a betting you make before you have made hand. If other players folds, this is a best outcome, since he almost assuredly had the best hand. If he calls, you still have outs to make the best hand. In one of your Texas hold’em online poker games, if you hold two hearts and the flop has two hearts, an all-in bet would be a semi bluff. If you called, you will probably win if either of the next two cards are hearts. If your opponent folds, you win the pot without having to make a hand.

Good Poker Bluffs in Low Limit Texas Hold’em:

Generally speaking, poker bluffs in low-limit Texas Hold’em really isn’t all that needed. While the best players will use some misleading and poker bluffs to increase profits, most players over use it, contributing it a horrible game decision. There are some situations in low-limit online poker games that offer great chances to bluff. Next time whenever you play Texas Hold’em online poker, rather than simply trying to bully someone out of the pot with a bluff, use online poker bluffing strategy outlined here in this article.

No Limit Texas Hold’em: How to Advertise:

There are various scenarios you’ll find when you sit down to play No Limit Texas Hold’em online poker. Much depends on your opponents. Sometimes, you just won’t have to get complicated. You’ll be sitting at a table with rank, un-observant and casual, who hardly even know the Texas Hold’em rules, straight-forward play will win. That’s it. Other times, however, you’ll have to rely on more sophisticated online poker strategies. You’ll be up against experienced, observant, tough players and you’ll have to go the extra mile to trip them up.

Online Poker Strategy

The world of online poker will not be so lively and exciting if not with the use of the online poker strategy that has been passed from generations to generations.

People use an online poker strategy to be able to gain leverage and advantage over their opponents. Enumerated below is a list of the usual online poker strategy that have survived the ravages of time to be able to assist and help poker players in their quest to earning more money.

The Online Poker strategy Of Today

The online poker strategy of today is basically divided into two categories; one is to avoid confrontation or being passive in playing poker games and the other is being aggressive or being active in playing poker games.

Online Poker Strategy Of Early Stages

1. In the early stages of a poker tournament or a poker game, a player usually has two choices as mentioned above. In a poker game table, there are usually 9 to 10 players. These players are usually very aggressive at the beginning of a poker game. They use the online poker strategy of being aggressive instead of being passive.

The online poker strategy they are using is to be able to chunk up a big lead over the other players so they can lie low during the middle of the game, reserving their energy until towards the end of the game.

A player can, however, use this to their advantage. By using an online poker strategy that uses continuation bet, they can turn the tables and win a couple of rewards towards the pot.

A continuation bet is an ancient online poker strategy, this bet is made after a flop in online poker games or tournaments. The player will raise a hand during the online poker game or tournament after which he has already gained control of the game.

Taking control of the hand together with a possible position will usually make opponents check to the player. As the game continues on, the other players will have no idea if the player holds a monster card or not. At the end of the supposed last card hand and the player will lay out the bet, the opponents will have trouble in their decision especially if the continuation bet is large enough.

2. From the opponents point of view, since the online poker strategy is to be aggressive, you must not waver in aggressiveness and instead push head on with spine towards the end of the game.

If a player is faced with the online poker strategy using continuation bet, the aggressive player must weigh his chances, but most usually must not stop being aggressive and must be ready to risk all that he has.

This player using an online poker strategy of being aggressive must see through the other player’s bluff and the continuation bet and dare him in the game.

Doing so, will continue the quest to earn rewards towards the top table and eventually to win the pot.

3. Another online poker strategy is using the passive style of playing poker in poker  games or tournaments.

A poker player who opted to avoid confrontation intends to wait out and be patient until several of the poker players are knocked out of the poker game. online poker strategy is similar to a predator who patiently waits for a wrong move from his prey before eventually pouncing upon him with all his might.

Using this online poker strategy also gives the poker player an opportunity to monitor and observe other poker opponents in a poker game or tournament. With this online poker strategy, the player will be able to observe the pattern of the online poker strategy of his opponents. you can then devise ways to be able to counter their strategies and eventually earn the rewards towards the top table of the poker game or tournament.

Conclusion On Online Poker Strategy

The online poker strategy used by a player during the early rounds of a poker game in a poker tournament is very important.

online poker strategy within the early stages will be reflected upon the succeeding rounds of the poker game in a poker tournament. Either he wants to win the poker game or just wants to earn the rewards, keeping up throughout the duration of the poker game is essential to achieve the goals.

We persist to get closer and closer to Legalized and Regulated Online Poker in the United States. I belief that this Legislation is very much required. In fact for non-poker players Legislation has enough of advantages and should be reinforced.

Online Poker Legislation

Online Poker Legislation

Although it continues harder and harder to play Online Poker in the United States, other countries have moved much speedy in passing Legislation. Countries across world are able to enjoy the freedom of playing Poker from the amenities and coziness of their own homes in a regulated and legal market. We don’t have that freedom in the United States. While you can still play Online Poker from the United States, it is far from safe and legal as we all learned on Black Friday. The lists of sites that still acquire United States players extend to get smaller. Few of the Poker sites that are still accepting US players have been forced to block players from particular states because of the state laws that exist there.

With the current Debt Crisis facing the United States, legalizing and regulating Online Poker could bring a much desired new revenue stream. It’s guesstimated that regulating Online Poker could bring in $42 Billion in new revenue to Federal Budget over the course of decade. Probably it may also give states with increased revenue streams. With US citizens still playing Online Poker in regardless of the Department of Justice’s recent clampdowns, rather those revenue streams stay in the United States, rather than a foreign country.

United States are in one of the poor economic extent of time since the great depression. Millions of Americans lost their jobs. The suppression on Online Poker on Black Friday only added to the numerous Americans that are jobless. Thousands of Americans made their living playing Poker professionally. Thousands more Americans were employed by Poker Affiliates, Poker News Sites, Poker Coaching/Training Sites, and web design sites. Many of these players are incompetent to make the same living in the current United States Online Poker climate. The reason being sites still receiving US players have diminutive player pools and they do not offer same high stakes as the sites seized on Black Friday. Legislation is the only way that can give US citizens their jobs back, but it would also bring the offshore Poker Sites onto American soil which would generate chiliad of jobs enclosed with: Customer Service Positions, Marketing jobs, Technology Positions, Computer Programming and Networking Positions, etc.

Online Poker Legislation

Online Poker Legislation

Some may verbal disputes that legalizing Online Poker would open the door for problem Gamblers and minor Gamblers. Literally, the conflicting would happen under government regulation. Recently, we believe on these offshore Poker sites to police problem gamblers and adolescent gamblers. Can we authentically rely that these offshore sites have the great interest of these individuals in mind? Well present offshore sites cannot probably catch all the problem gamblers and minor gamblers even if that was their objective. Excellent federal legislation would set up different detection techniques to check.

United States have eternally been on top if we talk about freedom. Now it’s a day to get back to that and give United States Online Poker players the independence to play in a safe, legal and regulated Poker world. At present there are enormous bills to Legalize and Regulate Online Poker at the state level and there is also a Federal Bill.

Few Texas Holdem Tips To Improve Your Game

You will be surely surprised to see that minor changes in your playing style can yield you better chance of getting better results in your play. Here are some Texas Hold’em tips which might help you in getting an added advantage.

Aggressive play: Playing aggressively is very important in Hold’em. The player who make it big in Hold’em games have a aggressive playing style. However playing aggressively does not mean you are stupid. You should have a delicate balance and attention on your chip count while playing aggresively. Just to play aggressively when it makes sense to do so, otherwise the risk is too much.

All-ins: Going all-in and call an all-in Hold’em is the adrenaline, but also a way to finish a tournament early. Try to seal the deal before going all in, and make sure that the odds are in your favor. Similar arguments apply to the convening of an all in, which, except in exceptional circumstances a player goes all-in will have a strong hand.

Stealing Blinds: When you have the opportunity in late position, always try to steal the blinds to cut it. To do this, you should be aware of all the players still holding tight, the players’ actions that you consider to be loose and the relative size or stacks of chips you’re less likely to be called with a big stack. It is also important to recognize any player who defends the blind.

Marginal Hands: Play marginal hands (and a lot of hands) are properly critical. You should never play the blinds or attitudes at the beginning, always placing pre-flop, but never bet too much if the flop does not work for you to get ours in the kitchen and forget to go after bowel forehand.

Pot Odds: Learn to compute pot odds. Most players either can’t or don’t bother. By paying attention and playing only with a positive expectation you can increase your win rate enormously. Once you understand how it works you can manipulate the pot odds in your favor.

It’s good to see your family members to be with you when you decide to go for an event like WSOP, but it would even better if you have your family playing at the WSOP. You don’t know how it feels then Hinkle brother’s are here to explain it.

Hinkle Brothers Grant & Blair who made good news during the 2008 WSOP by winning bracelets each, now it’s the youngest brother out of four Hinkle brother “Manson” who is making the news with his debut at the age of 21.

There is lots of expectation from the young lad as he hails from a well poker educated family. And how can’t it be when two of your elder brothers are WSOP bracelet winners.

When asked about his expectation this is what he had to say “I have high expectations, well not high, but I feel like I’m better than the field, at least in this (event), but realistically you’re going to have run real good to go deep or anything,”.

Mason Hinkle was inspired to play poker after seeing his elder brothers winning WSOP bracelet in 2008. That’s when he took up playing poker online in order to improve his poker skills. He made a fair amount of winning playing at FullTilt. His online poker skills caught his elder brother’s attention, after which they were extremely satisfied with Masons poker skills.

Rules: First of all, everyone gets dealt two cards face down. Later on the dealer puts five cards face up in the center of the table. This gives you a total of seven cards from which to make a hand.

The other thing you should learn are the basic poker hands. You can find these easily on the internet – things like two pairs, full house, straight, flush etc. Again, don’t worry too much about these at this stage.

An unknown player, “Lindqvro” just happened to be Dan “jungleman12″ Cates by storm over the $ 25 / $ 50 PLO tables. This Lindqvro had a lot of money and was using an ultra-aggressive style Cates some money somewhere in the neighborhood of $ 300K in four tables at once.

The fact that this unidentified player was from Sweden led many to believe that it was none other than Viktor Blom, who after recently signing with Poker Stars, would not be able to use his regular handle “Isildur1” anymore, as rights to that name belong to Poker Stars according to the sponsorship contract between Stars and Blom. After about five hours of posts on 2+2, poker community enthusiasts believed to have had it all figured out. The bankroll, the playing style, the “mysterious Swedish player” were all too familiar. Signs pointed towards Blom, who until recently was unknown to the world as Isildur1, but came out during the Poker Stars Caribbean Adventure, as a publicity stunt after signing a contract with the online poker room.

It is unclear who actually Lindqvro is, it is unclear whether or not it will still appear at Full Tilt Poker. Only time will answer to these mysteries, but Blom, it seems as if there was a fun game to be named, which is already beginning to be the first to say he is. If he wants to continue playing in secret, he may have a second home somewhere. Ultimately, however, learn their secret, because nobody has presented randomly then proceeded to play so aggressively and have the funds to back it up.

Poker Is Not a Game For The Faint Hearted

Poker Is Not a Game For The Faint HeartedPoker is not a game for the faint hearted. If you want to win a poker game is sure to have the courage to do so. You must understand how to exploit the opportunities that come your way. If you have a suited king and queen must have the courage to raise before the flop.

Sometimes when you’re given seven and two who are still not fit, you’ll have to deal with it. As many would say, poker is fifty percent of chance and skill than fifty percent. As the wise say, fortune favors the bold.

If you want to take advantage of the fifty percent luck then you have to be pretty bold to seize the chances when luck comes your way. If you play too safe in poker then you will end up losing. For example, if you have a ten and a jack that are suited, what would you do before the flop comes out? Will you raise the pot or will you simply call the big blind? These are matters that your only your guts can deal with. When the flop comes out, you see a queen and a king that are of the same suit as yours.

What will you do? Are you going to be confident and raise the pot or are you simply going to call what everyone put in the pot? If you are a daring player then you will go all in even without the nine or the ace showing up. Are you going to take advantage of this opportunity? Are you going to go for it? If the flop comes out and a six shows up, what are you going to do? Are you simply going to call everyone’s bets or are you going to go all in?

Since there is only one card left to show up, what are the chances that a nine or an ace will show up? The chances are pretty slim. Your opponents may have a hit a pair or even a two pair already. Are you going to go all in or are you going to wait for the river card to show up? If you are the daring and gutsy kind of player then by all means, you will go all in even before the river card comes out.

You will definitely feel the rush of the moment. If you want to scare all away, even if you do not hit anything the only way to do this is through courage, not by thinking. Go ahead, do it and win!

Online Poker Cheating ScamCo-creator of the animated series the longest running in television history (The Simpsons), Sam Simon, claiming a player high-stakes poker has lost more than $ 4 million due to a hidden camera cheating that was secretly installed in his house.

According to Simon, someone broke into the pro’s house and installed the camera unbeknownst to the online pro.
Simon, who also plays poker, has indicated that the pro in question happens to be one of the biggest nosebleed players out there—someone the poker community knows very well, though he never revealed who this player was. He just explained that the said online poker pro was “losing, and losing, and losing.” Then he realized that someone had gained access to his house and installed the camera above his computer.

“He found a camera stuck in his ceiling, looking at the [computer] screen,” says Simon.
Simon has also told the Las Vegas Review Journal that he too had been a victim of cheating scams that involved online poker. For instance, he explains that two players will be sitting together physically while playing online at the same table, ganging up on unsuspecting victims.

After Simon had been victimized by this scam, PokerStars ran an algorithm test proving he had been scammed, and ultimately Simon got his money back. He no longer plays poker online.

Simon also made comments about the proposed bill by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid that will legalize online poker in the US. Simon is weary of it and accuses it of being corrupt.

The bill is in effect a ban on sites such as PokerStars and Full Tilt at least one year, allowing only the casino name brands such as MGM and Caesars Palace to run online gaming sites in the United States.
